Dear Friends,

CAMERA's Partnership of Christians and Jews is happy to announce the addition of another researched and sourced FactSheet to the free resources available on our website

The Partnership's FactSheets counter fiction with fact concerning specific libels about Israel promoted by legacy media, various governments, educational institutes, and even some in the church. These timely resources will equip you to counter efforts to delegitimize and demonize Israel in your sphere of influence.

Three previously released FactSheets titled GenocideCivilian Deaths, and Humanitarian Crisis address false allegations in the context of Israel's war with Hamas. A fourth reveals the history behind the use of the terms "Palestinian" and "Palestine."

The most recent is titled:

"Promises Made, Covenant Remembered"

and is part one in an upcoming series on

Replacement Theology: What is it and Why is it Unbiblical?

More FactSheets coming soon!

500 Days of War and Counting

Monday, February 17th, was Day 500 of the war Hamas started with Israel on October 7, 2023, in which 1,200 men, women, children and elderly were killed and 251 people were taken hostage into Gaza.

A ceasefire began this past January 18th as part of an agreement between Hamas and Israel that provides for the gradual release of all hostages in exchange for thousands of prisoners held in Israeli jails - including convicted murderers of Israelis serving life sentences - and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza.

The first phase of the agreement provides for the release of 33 Israeli hostages, 3 or 4 at a time over the course of 42 days. So far, 19 Israeli hostages have been released in exchange for the release of 1,135 Palestinian prisoners, including 224 serving life sentences and 236 serving long sentences. Most, if not all, of those with life and long sentences have the blood of many Israelis on their hands.

If all goes as planned with the second and third phase of the agreement, the remaining 59 hostages held in Gaza will be released. This number will include a significant number of bodies because according to what Israel knows at this point, at least 36 of the remaining 59 are dead.

Of the 14 hostages still to be released as part of the first phase of the agreement, 6 are believed to be alive and 8 to be dead. Two of the 6 living hostages have been held in Gaza for over a decade. Three of the 14 are Shiri Bibas and her two little boys, Ariel and Kfir, who should have been released in November, 2023, when all children and most of the other women were set free.

As of this writing, Hamas has said it will return the bodies of 4 hostages this Thursday, February 20th. The names of 6 living hostages to be freed on Saturday, February 22nd, have been released and include the 4 men listed in the graphic below as wounded and sick and the two men who have been held in Gaza for a decade.

This is an extremely painful time for the people of Israel who, in the midst of the joy of receiving living hostages back from horrific deprivation, torture and abuse, will also be mourning innocent civilians who were tortured and murdered simply because they were Jewish.

May all those who mourn be comforted among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

And may Israel be successful in completing removing Hamas' ability to ever again be able to do what it did on October 7, 2023.
